Green Love Events is dedicated to making sure that all of our floral products and supplies are eco-friendly.  We encourage our staff to think of new and creative ways of making floral designs safer for the environment while reducing waste at the same time.

From the growers to the composters we use, we research every step of the way!  We are proud to be the first all eco-friendly floral design team in the Washington, DC area!  We use a combination of local, US, Canadian and Dutch floral growers and farms.  We only use pesticide-free fresh-cut flowers.

Being the eco-friendly floral design division of Elegance & Simplicity Wedding & Event Designers, Inc. makes us part of a cutting-edge team. Our designers have over 40 years of combined experience from different floral backgrounds.

We not only help you to reduce the waste that is normally created by events, we help you choose the best flowers to match your style!

Recycling and reusing is our motto at our workshop.  With 6 specific ways we recycle and reuse on a daily basis- you know that your event is as eco-friendly as possible!  

• We recycle boxes and paper and reuse them if we are able
• We recycle glass by picking up vases from events that are not taken by guests – we also recycle any broken glass
• We reuse dried flowers for office arrangements and gift giving products
• We donate flowers unclaimed by guests to local non-profits and nursing homes
• We compost what we cannot recycle and reuse
• With the compost material that is created from our compost, we help nourish 3 gardens for free!
